Our
Parish Nurse, Kathy Chase, has received an email from Dr. D. Randal
Walton, Director of Pastoral Care at Centra Health. In response
to the media coverage of Terri Schiavo, Dr. Walton's office has
received a lot of inqueries about Advanced Directives through which
individuals can state their wishes should they be incapacitated.
He has provided the Virginia Advance
Medical Directive form, which can be viewed and printed or saved by
clicking on the link. The form is in Adobe Acrobat format and
requires that the Acrobat Reader be installed on your computer.
